Ancient Rome
To the left you see a depiction of daily life in ancient Rome. This photo is a still from the HBO series "Rome," which tells the story of Julius Caesar. (It is a fantastic show; however, it is not appropriate for viewing in school.) Can you picture the first scene of Act 1 taking place in a setting like this?

hmm...it looks like a marketplace:) The people's clothes look fancy to me, even if they're probably all of the lower class....and it looks a little empty. it is a real interesting picture!!I have a question. for our blogs, do we post replies on our julius caeser book and on our group reading book? or just one out of the two? thanks=3 bye
